ACTIVITIES
As members of the
Order, we are asked to follow
the Way of the Order, translating it into our own
spiritual way for our everyday actions.
This self-determined path encourages us to keep moving forward on the spiritual journey with awareness and intention.
The quarterly newsletter,
published at the Solstices
and Equinoxes,
is the lifeline that holds us all together as a caring community and gives
us inspiration and encouragement. Those of us who wish to share write
for this letter. New members are introduced to the community with a short
profile. An annual membership list accompanies the newsletter in September.
From the profiles and member list we each can find a personal spiritual friend to correspond with, through mail, telephone, email or prayer. We have seen the importance of a spiritual friend as a "witness", someone who will listen non-judgmentally, always with respect. Many close friendships have developed within the Order. "I feel closer to my companions of the Order than to my own family."
One or more gatherings each year and a few small groups meeting regularly give us a chance to know other companions. At the June Solstice, Annual Gatherings are held in several places, wherever two or more members live near enough to meet.
